On 18 April 2018, I’ll be taking part in the Bike Ride in Vietnam with CARE International UK, which will cover 500 km over 8 days. 

CARE works in 79 developing countries, helping the world’s poorest people to work themselves out of poverty. One of the initiatives is a microfinance lending scheme  ‘LendWithCare’. It brings together entrepreneurs from local communities with people who are able to help them, people like you!

A loan of just £15 can be a life changing experience. For example, it enables the renting of a market stall, opening of a small tailoring business or for a farmer to diversify their crops. Once the business starts making a profit, the loan is repaid and can be re-invested. A win-win outcome.

During my trip I will have the privilege of meeting families who have benefitted from such loans and learn first-hand how it changed their lives.

I’m trying to raise £3,250 and will be covering the costs of the trip myself, so everything you donate will go directly to CARE’s life-changing work. Every donation will be hugely appreciated. Your support will offer real hope to people living in poverty!
