PSK is a charity for homeless and disadvantaged people in the city ensuring that they get some hot soup, food and drinks, throughout the year, whatever the weather conditions. For 39 years, run entirely by volunteers, we operate 100% on donations and need funds to offer and improve our services;

Story

Hi Everyone!!

As many of you will know while at uni I did my final major project on homelessness and rough sleeping. Although I loved doing the project, I feel really hypocritical that since then I have done nothing to help, so this is my chance.

Many people have different views on homeless people, which I appreciate. But, we're all human, and when you look at how some of these people ended up homeless, well, it can very easily happen to anyone.

The way I see it; I'd hate to spend every night sleeping rough, to be ignored by everyone, and be so alone. So, if you will, please give a little, even just a quid! It'll all help.

The money is going to help buy Peterborough Soup Kitchen a new van, as their current one is knackered. With a new van, people like Matt's mum can still give up their free time to hand out hot food and drinks to people over winter.

I'd REALLY appreciate it!! Thank you all xx
