Ssshhhhh don’t tell Alb about this page! As you may or may not know, Albert is running the London marathon on Sunday 23rd April. He got a ballot place so doesn’t need to raise money but it seems a bit of a waste to not try and raise a little bit for charity for his efforts.

This is Alberts first (and probably last) marathon. He is a capable runner when it comes to 5k, 10k and even half marathons but he’ll tell you himself that training for this marathon has tested him both mentally and physically and he hasn’t found it as easy as he had first thought. 

He’s not one to make a song and dance about his achievements so I thought I would set this page up in secret to help give him a boost when I show him on Saturday before the big race itself on Sunday.

Most of us will have been affected by cancer in some way so it seemed like the perfect charity to choose, anything you can give will be so greatly received. 

I know this is last minute but let’s see what we can rustle up in the next few days!
