Story

Hello world!

I am planning to run the Paris Marathon on the 2nd April with a goal
of completing it faster than 3h:30 mins, a target that will be
a real challenge given this will be my first marathon!

I am running it in aid of a small charity called GAIN (Guillain-Barré
& Associated Inflammatory Neuropathies). This is the only organisation in the UK dedicated to supporting people affected by Guillain-Barré, a rare condition that affects the nervous system. My uncle, Anthony Gordon Lennox, battled with this condition and I saw how debilitating this was for him and the people around him.

GAIN has three charitable objectives;

1. To offer support and information to people affected by the
condition

2. To increase awareness and understanding of the condition
amongst health professionals and the public

3. To help fund research into the prevention, causes and
treatment of the condition

Thank you to all for any donations in advance!

Love,
Albert
