Ward Walk Virtual 2020 · 13 September 2020 ·
In 2018 I went to hospital for the first time in 67 years with Tonsil Cancer. The staff in Oncology were fantastic when I went through my radiotherapy & Chemotherapy. Post treatment I suffered a bout of sepsis and without treatment at QA I wouldn’t be here. In 2019 I had further surgery to get rid of the last cancerous nodules. The care and treatment I received was superb. A year on I want to give something back and also test my resolve in doing this walk to raise funds for our wonderful hospital & staff. Please sponsor me as I make my round a few laps of Farlington Marshes be it pennies or pounds.
