Story
In November, we are walking 26 km in two days from the Kawada valley up through the forest/jungles of the Chilpi Range to visit villages that have been helped by Frank Water to access safe water and sanitation.
The walk is the about the same as walking the Malvern Hills end to end and back again... but it's much higher, we'll be climbing about 190 floors (according to Mum's health app!).
Safe water saves and changes lives, especially for girls of our age. Without safe water they have to spend a lot of their time collecting water from far way and often being ill because the water is not clean. They can't go to school!!!
We are looking forward to seeing how people live differently to us e.g what their homes are like, how they cook in a basic kitchen, where they collect their water from, where they go to the toilet!
We will be camping in one of the villages too!! I am a little bit scared of the insects biting me!!!!!!!
We're also looking forward to the walk, seeing lots of new insects and animals, trees and views. It will be challenging, but we think we can do it!
Look out for us on the Malvern Hills doing some training with Hazel... maybe come and join us?
We'll also be selling some of our toys and clothes to raise money as well.
Thank you love from
Amelia, Reuben & Elodie
