Three Peaks Challenge · 17 July 2012

We’re an anti-poverty charity & community of food banks, working together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing practical support for people left without enough money. (Please note we're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks, funds raised here go to Trussell)

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On September 21st/22nd 2012 a team of chaps from Alderholt Chapel will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge: climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt. Snowdon in 24hrs.

We are taking on this challenge in aid of The Trussell Trust; a Salisbury based Christian social action charity who run a network of over 240 foodbanks in the UK, a supported volunteer programme in Salisbury and a series of small group homes in Bulgaria that help young state care leavers avoid a life of prostitution and crime.

All the money raised for this event will go to The Trussell Trust.

Thank you for your support- we really appreciate it! Your generosity will give us motivation on our midnight ascent of Scafell Pike...

Our climbing team are:

Rob Aston, Chris Bishop, Phil Cheesman, James Emberley,

Jez Fairfield, Chris Garvey,  Jon Groom, Rich Haydon,

Tom Morris, Rich Parsons, Elliot Plowman, Chris Sinkinson

and Colin Tomsett.

Drivers:

Phillip Curtis & Pat Giblett
