As know we have had to use the defibrillator (successfully) twice in the last six months. We are running life support training sessions this year so that if another incident occurs there are many members with the necessary skills to take charge of the situation.

On each occasion that we had an incident, the Air Ambulance Service was called upon. You may not know that the service is funded entirely by voluntary donations and the North West service costs £9.5m to run each year. Each call-out costs ~£1700 - hence our fund-raising target.

So rather than charge for the training session, we would be delighted if you could give a (voluntary) donation to the North West Ambulance service.
