a 50k race on our doorstep... why not?!  a celebration of one of our 50th birthday, and just a celebration for the other - linking parishes of Aldersbrook and Wanstead together in the process.

we were looking for a charity making a difference locally  - supporting people through the cost of living crisis and addressing the climate crisis by saving food waste and making use of every resource available.

The mission of the Felix Project is simple - to take surplus food from their suppliers and deliver it to any charity that helps feed people. It's all nutritious and would otherwise go to waste. Not only that, but it helps fight food poverty and reduces costs for hardworking organisations.
