Aldershot Community Christmas Festival Ukulele Record Attempt · 30 November 2019

For over 40 years Phyllis Tuckwell has been supporting and caring for patients and families who have been given the worst possible news in West Surrey & North East Hampshire. We rely on the support of our community as we have to raise over £25,000 every day to continue our amazing services.

Story

At Aldershot Community Christmas Festival on Saturday 30th November 2019 we are hoping to set the record for 'the most ukulele players wearing Santa hats for 10 consecutive songs'. The record attempt starts at 12noon with a countdown from Cllr Sue Carter, the Mayor of Rushmoor.

Come along on the day, with your ukulele (and Santa hat) to join in with the record attempt, and also enjoy the other activities taking place at the 'Aldershot Community Christmas Festival'.

All money raised from this fantastic event will go to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. This amazing local charity supported ukulele player Malcolm Hobbs during a difficult time and has also supports numerous local families.

If you want to do more than just donate, then please contact Jenny Atherton for your ukulele information pack - jenny.atherton@rushmoor.gov.uk
