In April 2013 the MoD opened 50 miles of military roads to create London Rally for Heroes including a spectator stage for close-up action of some of the best rallying in the UK. The inaugural event raised funds for Help for Heroes, the charity which aids rehabilitation of wounded military personnel.

In 2015 Southern Car Club, in partnership with Farnborough District Motor Club, will continue this exciting and exclusive event with Aldershot Rally for Heroes – renamed as the rally will be hosted by Aldershot, the spiritual home of the British Army.
