Story

Caroline and I are taking part in the 2023 London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for World Land Trust (WLT), a charity that supports conservation in Africa, Asia, the Americas and beyond.

The pupils of Orwell Park School voted for World Land Trust this year and we are hoping to do our bit to support this great charity.

Working with more than 30 partners around the world, WLT funds land protection, habitat restoration, ranger salaries, carbon offsetting projects, and urgent aid like wildlife management. At a time of climate crisis and mounting biodiversity loss, its never been more important to support the work of charities like WLT. With more than 2.4 million acres already protected in concert with local communities, WLT have made a real impact on the natural world, and now we can too! All donations are hugely appreciated and will go directly to WLTs partners working on the front lines of conservation. Thank you!
