Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In January this year my good friend, all round amazing person Duncan Harwood passed away after a 5 year battle with Cancer. During that time my respect and admiration for him soared more than it was through his determination and approach to having this illness. Duncan was 37 when he passed away and has effected me deeply. Losing a dear friend at this young age will sit with me forever as it will with our close circle of friends. I could write chapter and verse about Duncan and it would never do him justice, but he is and will be missed by many, including me...welling up as I type this!
Just before he passed, he was being cared for at the St Christopher Hospice in Sydenham. Their care and support at the end helped not just him but his family too. So in support of this hospice, I will be raising money for them and in memory of Duncan by running a 36.1KM challenge.
Over the weekend of the 20th-22nd April I will be running a 5km, 10km and Half Marathon (21km) races in consecutive days. With the total distance covered being 36km! Every kilometre I run, I will be doing it for Duncan and every penny that I raise will go towards the amazing people at the St Christopher Hospice.
Please donate what you can as every contribution will be appreciated and going to a great cause.
