Hi Everyone, 

This April I will be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon for the amazing Lumos Foundation. I've been fortunate enough to be offered a place to run for the charity and to support the amazing work that they do around the world.

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and loving family, right?

I'm running for Lumos because 5.4 million children around the world are currently trapped in orphanages, and the vast majority are NOT orphans! 

They have parents who are not supported to care for their children when they need it most. Lumos works with local authorities in countries like Columbia, Kenya and Ukraine to make the change from institutions to family and community support for vulnerable children. It's an incredible transformation for every child, and helps restore their identity, their development, and their future.
