COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

Hello!

It’s with great please that Stockport Police Cadets brings to you Ma’am Chadwick’s Super Shaver fundraiser for C.O.P.S charity!

Sue Chadwick is an ex-serving police Inspector from the Greater Manchester area.

With 30 years of experience behind her, Sue is never afraid to back away from a challenge… even from our lively Stockport Police Cadets!

Sue has been tasked to shave her head to raise money for the Care of Police Survivors charity:

COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives."Your loss is a part of who you are but COPS helps you realise that it doesn’t define you. We are all one big family."Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.

On the 31st July 2020, the Stockport Police Cadets will be giving a Sue a new look by shaving her head in aid of this wonderful charity.

Please - open your hearts (and your wallets!) by giving what you can and helping us reach our £200 TARGET.

Thank you from us all
