everyone that knows me or my family know that Fraser is the runner in the family and i am head of team Fraser support.... well not this time thanks to Rosie and Olivia i am now for some reason running the leeds 10k on the 4th of July.
i have always got away with doing as little running as possible which was made 100% easy when i got my car but for one day and ONE day only i am hanging up my car keys and putting on my trainers for a very worth while cause.
i am running for Martin House Children's Hospice. Martin House offers support to children and teenagers with life limiting conditions. It also offer masses of support to the families of these children.
My little princess and the pea Olivia has SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) - a neuromuscular condition causing weakness of the muscles. - Her and her family have been going to Martin House over the years and have received amazing support from all the staff! The time they spend at Martin House gives Liv time to mess aboutn with other kids that know what she is going through aswell as giving uncle Pirate and aunty Helen a much deserved rest (and i should know how stressful it can be anyone remember the time i forgot to charge her chair and me and the bruce had to push her 18st chair over a mile not fun)
soooooo please please please dig deep and donate anything you can! giving a couple of quid to a very deserving charity is well worth lauging at me as i attempt to run (i use this term very loosely) 10 k!! go on go on go on go on go on
