Pregnant in West London (PWL) is a charity set up to provide free antenatal and postnatal classes to people in economically challenging circumstances who may not be able to afford NCT or other such classes. Over a six week course, PWL covers labour, birth nutrition, mental health, first aid, pain relief and coming home with a newborn baby – education that can make all the difference for first-time parents.

But every round of classes requires funding and, without this, the classes are not possible.

That is why I am entering the London Night Cycle on 11 June 2022 along with two of my fellow Trustees, Guy and James, to try to raise money so this important work can continue. We shall be cycling a 50km central London course in the middle of the night on our rusting bikes (Guy on a Brompton!). We and the charity would be hugely grateful if you were able to help sponsor us in this challenge. It could really make the difference between whether a full round of classes can go ahead or not. Thank you.
