Kent Air Ambulance saving the lives of the people close to us everyday

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
Pictured above is one of the paramedics on board who flew in to save Little kye Sharrad’s life. Kye was only 5 years old when he ruptured a blood vessel in his skull and was only a few precious moments away from being permanently brain damaged or worse. The Air ambulance said he had a maximum of 30 minutes before needing surgery. The Air ambulance was able to get him to London in 12 minutes which ultimately saved his life. I was to meet this cool little man just a year after and he has become a huge part of my life. A very kind and witty young man who is always making the family laugh with his jokes and acting years above his age, nicknamed the mini grandad. It was the work of the air ambulance that saved this precious life and so many others in our area, especially one other friend who I have grown up with and care about a lot James Collins. The Air ambulance relies on fund raising alone and need all our support to keep running and saving the lives of the people close to us. Please help me in supporting this amazing charity.
