London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that only occurs in women. It affects just over one woman in a million. We are a self-help group providing support for patients with LAM and raise money for vital research - it is often difficult to obtain money for research into a rare disease.

Story

Hi everybody! I have a fantastic opportunity to run the London Marathon for a very special cause.

I started running back in 2020 during the first lockdown, since then I have truly fell in love with the sport, I have many races under my belt at this point and I feel like I am only improving, and I want to get even  better!

Running the London Marathon is something that I have dreamed about since I started running, so to have this opportunity given to me thanks to LAM Action, I will do my absolute best to repay and show my gratitude by raising funds for this fantastic charity.

If you have read this far, this is where you come in! To all of my family and friends, if you could spare a bit of cash between now and race day to give LAM Action the best chance of continuing their rapid growth, then I on behalf of the charity would be eternally grateful.

Thank you very much everybody, time to continue training!!
