We're participating in this Tri Life event to raise money for Cancer Research and The Royal Marsden Hospital.  Every penny donated on here will go directly to both of these wonderful causes that are unfortunately, at the moment, very close to our hearts.

The challenge is to head into the Arctic Circle on a one-man sled pulled by a team of huskies.  The Tri-life team will be racing their sleds and the  huskies over five days and covering 120km in sub-freezing conditions - we expect the mercury to drop to -30 so this really is colder than we'll have ever been before!  Along with the weather we'll have the light to contend with - we are so far North there will be no more than two hours daylight per day which is going to make it pretty tricky when we need to  try and use the husky poop-a-scoop! 

As it says at the top of this page, all of all of the fundraising is for the charities, none of it will be used to cover the costs of the trip so anything you can donate will be hugely appreciated.
