Story

On Saturday 12 May, we will be taking part in this year's Just Walk sponsored charity event for Doctors for Nepal, hiking 25km across the South Downs to raise funds for healthcare in Nepal.

DFN aims to improve healthcare in rural Nepal by providing scholarships to under-privileged medical and nursing students, who then return to their communities to provide much needed medical care.

People in rural Nepal often have to walk for days through mountains to reach even basic healthcare, so walking is a very appropriate way of raising funds to help train more doctors and nurses.
