Hello all! 

I am Alex McDermott and next year I will be taking on the ambitious challenge of hiking to Everest base camp in order to support WWF.

WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation: with a mission to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.

 I am beyond thrilled to start this fundraising journey with you all: The reason I am so committed to WWF’s mission is so I can stop feeling so helpless when it comes to the current climate crisis and the future of our world. Let’s face it our planet is dying and I hope that with your help we are able to start making a change and help restore not only our planet but the  animals that live among us. 

No matter how big or small any amount of money you can donate would not only be so invaluable to me but additionally  you would be supporting WWF an organisation that is striving for excellence in our world
