Air Ambulance NI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for NI. Serious or life-threatening situations can happen to anyone at any time and on average every day one individual finds themselves in need of AANI.

Story

4 years ago Air Ambulance had a huge impact on the lives of myself and my family when they attended a car accident my sister was involved in.

They arrived at the scene, worked on her for over an hour before transporting her to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. Unfortunately she couldn't recover from her injuries but thanks to the work of Air Ambulance we had a chance to spend some time with her before saying our goodbyes

Their work also allowed Kyra to leave a lasting legacy of donating organs which helped 4 people get a new lease of life.

Over the last 4 years we have endeavoured to support this fantastic charity as best we can. We have received so much support from the local community to date and we are so incediably thankful for that

However the work of Air Ambulance has not stopped and so neither has our fundraising. In October I will be running both London and Dublin Marathon to raise money to continue to support this fantastic charity.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to my latest fundraising effort and to everyone who has support myself and my family over the last 4 years
