Story

Thank you for taking time to read my page  - We're back with another mad challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer, a charity near and dear to my family and many others.

Challenge1:

I will be attempting to complete the 4/4/48 challenge, inspired by retired Navy seal, David Goggins on the weekend of 15th/16th May in Oxford. This challenge involves running 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours...This will total 48 miles in 2 days with intermittent sleep and little recovery time between runs.

Challenge 2:

I will also be running the London Marathon on 3rd October 2021.

I will be running both challenges to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support. During the pandemic, many cancer patients have struggled with cancelled appointments/treatments, delayed operations which are potentially life threatening and increased anxiety surrounding their physical, mental and financial well being. Macmillan provide expert services to support those living with cancer and their loved ones, and the demand of their services has increased throughout the pandemic.

As always, I will being do this challenge in memory on my mum. I will forever be grateful for the support she received from Macmillan, and I hope by raising money, this will allow that support to continue for those in similar positions.

Any donations of any size, will be greatly appreciated and go towards a great cause, and if you fancy a 4 miles shift (location Oxford) the company will be very appreciated!
