Mum was diagnosed with Cancer in December 2011, she was still at work, life was pretty normal except for a burning pain when she shallowed. On Friday 13th April she died. My family's world was turned upside down. I lost a wonderful Mum who was also a best friend - somebody I shared a love of music with, food with and company with. Miranda did too. But more importantly the children lost their Nana, my Dad lost his wife of 45 years.

Almost everyone I talk to has been touched by Cancer. We aim to do a little to help Cancer Research in their fight against this terrible disease.  We would have liked a few more years for Mum through early diagnosis or improved treatment - a little less pain from even better medicine.
