Story

Hi there! Alex here - thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for Marie Curie's 'Step Into Spring' challenge.

For all of March 2020, I will be aiming to walk 10,000 steps a day to help raise money for Marie Curie UK. I've been a supporter, volunteer fundraiser and now volunteer social media assistant for this amazing organisation in the East of England for the last nine years. I always support Great Daffodil Appeal and sign up for the collections, but wanted to go the extra mile this year (pardon the pun).

I am hoping that I can raise up to £100 to help Marie Curie's nurses continue to offer their amazing palliative care and support to those affected by terminal illness and their families. I am also doing this to remember my uncle Bruce Turner, who sadly passed away in December 2019. I will endeavour to keep you updated with my progress before and during the month both here and on my blog (http://alexscsb.com) and on my Twitter account which is @ThePensmith10. Thank you so much for your support.
