Lake District Challenge 2021 · 12 June 2021 ·

We believe that no one should be excluded from the life-changing benefits of community sport. We support community sports clubs, organisations, coaches and volunteers to provide inclusive inclusive sports offers, helping change the lives of underserved young people in their local community.

Story

I've decided (been roped in) to walk 100km (+2,000m climb) over 2 days in June in the Lake District. Just to be clear, this is an Ultra Event, which means I'm supposed to be super fit and only have 2 more months to train!

There will be blood, sweat and tears guaranteed, and definitely lots of outside wees, but it'll all be worth it to help this incredible charity...

Access Sport believe all young people should be able to experience the power of sport. However over the past few years the number of people on low incomes participating in sport has fallen nearly 50,000, causing a third of UK children being classified as obese or overweight, sidelining the poor and vulnerable. Your support makes a real difference in creating a level playing field, giving under-represented and at-risk young people regardless of ability, gender, background or ethnicity, the chance to enhance their life prospects through sport.

Please help me in supporting Access Sport by making a donation.

Thanks!

Alex
