Shooting Star Chase is a charity that provides hospice care and emotional support to terminally ill children and their families. I have visited their hospice and seen their work first hand and I can honestly say it's an experience I will never forget for as long as I live. I want to raise as much money as possible to support this organisation who, when the unthinkable happens in someones family are there to hold their hands, dry their eyes, share their pain, listen to their anger, encourage their acceptance and support their best possible quality of life. 

Now, I don't run or cycle or swim or really do anything remotely athletic so fundraising by doing marathons, swimathons, moon walks, bike rides was not for me which left me thinking about what I could do to raise money for this amazingly awesome charity........ Naturally I came to the conclusion that shaving my head would be the best idea!!!!! 

The shave will take place on 2nd September at the Simply Waste Charity Family Fun Day and it's going to be live streamed on line. My hair will then be donated to an organisation that makes wigs for children. 

So please dig deep and help me smash my target xxx
