After losing my uncle to tongue cancer at the end of last year, only six months after diagnosis, I have decided to help raise money for Cancer Research UK by entering Ultimate White Collar Boxing Event in Crawley on 2nd June.

The training will begin shortly after Easter and will be twice a week up until fight night. As well as the two days a week boxing training I will be working on my cardio by running 2/3 times a week.

Aaaand, to make sure i don't slack on the running I have entered a tough half marathon called Three Forts in Worthing on the 6th May. 

I hope to raise at least £500 towards this great cause and help do my bit towards treating and preventing this terrible illness. 

To help raise even more I'll be matching the total donation up to £200 - As the training for the fight is free I think it's only fair. 

I will be pushing myself hard in the run up to fight night so any donations will be very much appreciated!
