My Dad, Andrew died suddenly after completing the Droitwich Half Marathon on 6th March, 2011. Just weeks before he died he had said that he would run a marathon to raise money for St. Richard's  because my Mum had told him of the good work of the Hospice.  My Dad did not have the opportunity to do this and so I want to do it for him. 

I started running for my Duke of Ediinburgh Award and Mike Knott, an old friend of the family has been training me to take part in this years event on 2nd November.  Mike will be running along side me to encourage me to get to the finishing line.  I know my Dad will be watching over me and encouraging me too.  Hopefully he will be proud of me carrying out his wish. 

Please give generously to this very worthwhile charity who provide holistic care to those with life limiting illnesses.  The Hospice also provide support to the families of patients too at such a very difficult time.
