Once a thriving country sitting on the world’s largest oil reserves, Venezuela has suffered a precipitous decline over the past two decades. There are drastic shortages of both food and medicines and diseases such as diphtheria and malaria are re-emerging. Hospitals are suffering because of lack of maintenance and scarcity of medical supplies.  ​

Healing Venezuela helps mitigate this crisis by sending medical supplies to hospitals and other NGOs, implementing stress management workshops, and sponsoring HIV and cancer lab tests.
