What a day!  I was a bit apprehensive at the start as I'd only prepared for a half marathon but I heard a voice tell me to just pace myself and that I'd be ok!  With my fatigue issues I was trusting in the Lord !

I was amazed at the local support and it definitely made the difference having your name printed on your top and if you want even more support make sure you run near the crowd.........I know     I did !!

They also gave out lots of food and sweets.  I had a few pit stops in some of the pubs on route to save time queing up for the portaloo which always had numerous human lemons queuing......WOW!  Those people knew how to waste time!

which lifted my spirit and also changed the atmosphere.  I was then able to run to the end.  However I didn't take enough water for dancing and running....But the Lord made a way!

However after completing the Marathon I had a few complications with dehydration and overheating from the baking sun whilst feeling like a jelly.  Now I know what it feels like to walk like a penguin?  I've never exerted my body like this before........LOL!

I will only do this again if God tells me to!   I encourage anyone who has never run a marathon to do so. 
I now have an overcoming point of reference!!
