Thank you for supporting me to take part in the Lendwithcare Zambia Bike Ride 2020. Your donation will go to CARE International UK who are helping to cut out poverty at its roots by making micro loans to small traders to help expand their businesses. I was introduced to Lend with Care about 10 years ago and was really impressed that this small "leg up" helped so much in a positive and material way, its not charity and ensures that recipients keep their dignity and self respect. My loans have always been fully repaid within the timescales agreed enabling the money to be re-loaned to others. I have been very happy to be helpfully involved and hope that you might be too, I have fully funded my participation in this challenge so that 100% of the funds raised will go to assist as many individuals as possible. About 16 of us will be cycling mainly on sandy tracks through local native terrain and camping in the bush each night, a most exciting venture and best of all we will be privileged to meet some of the wonderful families that Lend with Care have been able to help.
