Story
Hi Guys,
Very much alive, not used to this technical stuff so please bare with me. This will be my forth walk for Moorfields, how else can I say thank you for literally saving my sight. I am sure over the years you have heard my story. I am one of the lucky ones...... I have my freedom back. ( which was never guarenteed)
The pavements of West End, Bisley and Brookwood in "sunny" Surrey I am sure are are getting bored of my footsteps. Me and my pedometer are best of friends. 6 mile/12000 steps is my usual "light"training, in any weather although dry is prefered. Just missing a dog........ have also completed home to Woking which is certainly a challenge. The Basingstoke canal tow path is nicer than traffic wizzing past. Not only once but twice 12 miles/ 24000 steps.
Despite being another year older and wearing through another pair of shoes.......I can do it I just need more sponsers to keep me motivated and remind me that I am only SLIGHTLY mad.
Nearly d day, online support has dwindled. Some of my most generous supporters are missing this year. (totally understandable) but my enthuisam is as strong as ever (19/02)No one should loose their sight.
