Story

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page, we are taking on RideLondon-Essex 100 to fundraise for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of David's sister Colette

Colette was taken away from us far too soon after being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in October last year. Her tumour was so big when it was discovered that she never had a chace to make a full recovery. The research the brain tumour trust are doing may just prevent other families from loosing someone so special

Your brain is the most extraordinary part of your body. Its responsible for your ability to move and to communicate. It controls your emotions and stores your memories. Its the part of you that makes you, who you are. Yet, at least 88,000 children and adults are currently estimated to be living with a brain tumour in the UK. The Brain Tumour Charity is the worlds leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. They're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And they're doing it right now. Because they understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really cant wait.
