This Christmas, we're dealing with a mental health emergency.York Mind have worked tirelessly to meet the increasing demand for mental health support in York, both before and during the pandemic. We want to make sure we continue to be there for everyone who needs us in the future - and with your generosity and help, we can do this.

This is a charity that’s extremely close to my heart as I’ve lost 2 people I love more than anything to mental illness and I want to help anyway I can. This year has been extremely tough on everyone’s mental health, I’ve seen it and heard it from many people who have visited my salon, friends, and family members,  I’ve had very dark days myself. 

 I want to not only raise money but also awareness . People need to know it’s ok to not be ok but you must talk about it. There are people out there who can help. York mind is an amazing independent charity providing mental health support to many people. 

I will be donating £200 this evening and I’m hoping you can help too by donating,. Even if it’s a very small donation you can manage, let’s keep topping it up. Please also share my social media posts to spread the word.  People need our help and I for one will not sit back and do nothing not after this year.
