Story
I was deeply moved when I visited the charity for a Child's Smile in Cambodia last year. I cried seeing the dire misery of the children working on rubbish dumps. They risk their lives daily. Their bodies are covered with cuts and infections. They stink, are outcasts and refused access to schools. Then there is the force of one emotion: indignation. This very emotion led the two founders of the charity to do whatever they could to help these children. And now there is the beauty of what they have achieved in less than 12 years: changing the lives of thousands of children by providing them schooling, hot meals and vocational training. All this thanks to generous donators and volunteers. This is humanity at its best. I feel now compelled to be part of it. I appeal to your feelings of compassion to join as well by taking one simple step:
