In order to carry on fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK, Alex and Simon Beagley will be joining Team Hope in this classic trek along the Great Wall of China in October 2014. 

The Great Wall of China trek is a nine-day trip with five days of trekking. Each day they will trek along the stony, steep and sometimes slippery paths of both renovated and unrenovated original wall  sections. The challenge will finish at the top of Heavenly Stairway which on a clear day has views of the mountains all around. The event concludes in Bejing on the 1st November with a celebratory dinner with the team. As the event finishes on the first day of November, Alex, dad and the rest of Team Hope will kick start Pancreatic Awareness Month with the fantastic achievement of completing this challenge.

In order for Alex and Simon to be able to take part in such an amazing experience, they must raise at least £3,000 each. This may sound like a lot, but as we have learnt in the last few months from our previous fundraising, we are positive that our friends and family will be able to dig deep once again for such a worthy cause. We are so grateful for everyones support throughout our fundraising efforts in memory of Paula.
