Story

In April, I'll be taking to the streets of London to run my first London Marathon (on my birthday) to help raise money for the Amazing Macmillan Cancer Support.

Anyone who has endured family or friends go through the process of fighting cancer will know that the support and care which Macmillan provide through out the whole journey is nothing short of heroic. Having lost my Grandad to cancer a few years back, but also watching my mum more recently beat cancer, highlighted all the amazing ways in which Macmillan help, from early stage treatment to home support and making end of life care as comfortable as possible for both pateint and family.

I wanted to take this opportunity to give back and to try to raise some money to ensure that Macmillan can continue what they do, and everyone who needs their help can get it.

Those of you who know me will know that running has always been a part of my life and the London Marathon has always been the ultimate end goal, and so I intend on giving it my all for this great cause.

Any donations would be hugely appreciated.

Thank You.
