Comrade,
This Saturday night I will be spending in an uncommon and rather unnatural fashion – by cycling 200km (120 mile in old money) through the night from London Hackney to Dunwich on the coast. It is still a mystery what exactly has possessed me to sign up to this (Suffolk cider may have played a part), but tomorrow at 8pm three trusted (hopefully) companions and I will set off on a long ride with an expectation to finish around sunrise. An early morning swim along with a pint of something refreshing will be the light at the end of the tunnel.
As the start nears, the waves of self-doubt consume me. Your hard(earned) cash donated for a good cause will be essential in battling these self-doubts and in keeping me going through small hours of Sunday morning.
Your donations will go towards the purchase of cancer treatment equipment for Zhytomyr Children's Hospital in ; this equipment will help save 20-30 children every year. Every year approximately 40 children are diagnosed with leukemia in Zhytomyr region alone, but state support is not sufficient to treat these children.
Thank you for your support!
Alex (TR)
