Walk of Life 2019 · 11 May 2019 ·

Raising £2m towards the unique RNHRD & Therapies Centre at the Royal United Hospitals Bath (RUH).

Story

As Mayor of Bradford on Avon, I am walking just 10 miles with my husband Simon. We will be joined by fellow Councillors,  Dom Newton (Leader of the Council) and Simon McNeill-Ritchie. We're all walking to raise funds and awareness for the Forever Friends Appeal, supporting the RUH.

The RUH provides amazing health-restoring and life-saving services and it needs all our support to continue and enhance those services. A few years ago, I broke my arm badly and the RUH was there for me and helped me to regain its full use.

Everyone in the area, over half a million people in Wiltshire, Bath, and Somerset, will have need of these services one day and/or will know some loved one, a relation, friend or neighbour, who has been helped by those services: .
