ATTENTION ALL POSITIVE AND GENEROUS PEOPLE!
I need your help...

I have signed up to take on the epic beast which is the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge! A death defying trek over the three toughest peaks Yorkshire has to throw-down: Whernside (2,415 ft), Ingleborough (2,372 ft) and Pen-y-ghent (2,277 ft). And, all three of these bad boys need to be conquered in 12 hours or it’s game over…

To date, no one has ever survived this challenge (ok, I might have made that up…), but this does not phase a super-fit, fearless and great looking machine like me.

I can hear you asking: “But Alex, why are you doing this???”. Well, I’m glad you asked…

I am doing this to raise money for an awesome and impactful charity in the north-east called the Chronicle Sunshine Fund. This amazing charity supports babies, children and young adults with disabilities, additional needs an terminal illness, by funding the purchase of life-changing, specialist equipment for them.

I first became aware of this brilliant charity back in 2018 when I took part in a charity trekking Challenge in India. On that memorable adventure I met an amazing group of ladies from Newcastle who were all raising money for the Sunshine Fund. I heard about the impactful and life-changing work of the charity first-hand. So, in honour of my awesome geordie champion lasses, I want to raise as much money as possible to help make a real difference.

The second reason I am doing it is because I know no fear…

I also took on this challenge because I know that I have a lot of amazing people in my life who will support me in this, yes, I’m talking about you!
