Story

I’m incredibly proud to share that I’ve been selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027, as part of the Clyde World Scout Jamboree Unit. It’s a huge honour and a once‑in‑a‑lifetime chance to join thousands of young people from around the world for an unforgettable experience of adventure, cultural exchange, leadership and global citizenship.

Part of the Jamboree’s mission is making sure that young people from all backgrounds—not just those who can afford it—get the chance to attend. That’s why I’m fundraising: not only to cover my own costs, but also to support Scouts from countries with lower GDPs through the Jamboree’s solidarity fund. Your support helps to make the Jamboree more inclusive and gives young people around the world the chance to take part in something truly life‑changing.

To kick off my fundraising, I’m taking on The Glasgow Kiltwalk on 25th April. Any sponsorship you’re able to give would mean a lot and will help make this incredible opportunity possible.
