1.2 Challenge
Campaign by OCD UK (RCN 1103210)
The 1.2 challenge is a fun and simple walking challenge to walk an extra 1.2 miles every day for 30 days. This will help boost participants physical & mental well-being. Funds raised by the challenge will ensure we can be there for the 1.2% with OCD.

Story

From the Charity:

We're here for the estimated 1.2% of people living with and affected by Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) here in the UK.Were here to support people through the difficult times, right through to recovery and everything in between, we are OCD-UK.Uniquely, the charity is completely service-user led, everyone involved in the organisation have personal experience of OCD, either directly or through a loved one.

From me: As someone who has many people in my life with OCD this charity has really helped me to be more understanding and kinder to those with the disorder. It is a charity that does so much good work for those living with OCD and is one of very few charities. OCD is so often misunderstood and is so often used as a throwaway comment in TV or by people on social media. I have wanted to raise money for this charity for a while and this seemed like a great opportunity. Along with my running updates I will post helpful resources that I have used.
