Story

One of my closest friends, Alex Langham, lost his life due to a tragic accident at only 28 years old on 19th March 2022. It's almost certain his type 1 diabetes contributed to his death.

Diabetes was something Alex learned to live with his whole life. From self administering insulin multiple times a day, to tracking how much sugar he had consumed from any food or drink. The burden of this disease is something most of us will never fully understand or have to endure. Only now do I truly appreciate how lucky I am and just how deadly this disease can be.

On June 4th 2022 I will be completing the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours to raise money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). This charity specifically funds type 1 diabetes research. Which is why JDRF means a lot to Alex's family who still continue to raise money to help search for a cure.

Please donate whatever you can.

Thank you.
