Cardiac Risk in the Young Verified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845 (England & Wales), SC052581 (Scotland)
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Yes, we are putting our rapidly ageing bodies on the line, to take part in a 24-hour "squash-athon" at LA Fitness Gatwick on 18/19 July 2008.  We are raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, who supported Paul Taylor when he first had his pacemaker fitted and who subsequently left me to do the event by myself!! :o).  They are a fantastic charity, very close to our hearts(!), so please give generously.

Thank you to all of those who participated and to those who came down to support us as I don't think we could have made it through without you! And special thanks to McDonalds for the through the night and early morning nutrition!! :o)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

I HAVE SET UP THIS PAGE TO COLLECT ALL OF THE MONEY THAT EVERYONE HAS GENEROUSLY OFFERED TO DONATE! Now that I have successfully completed it, it is time to pay up!! Most of you are friends on facebook and a few photos and I believe a video of the event can be seen on my page!

So please sponsor us now!...
