Alex Waters is a 20 year old racing driver from Bath in England, he is currently racing in the British F3 championship with hope of making it to Formula One. This year he has teamed up with CLIC Sargent the Charity supporting young children and families affected by Cancer and Leukemia.

Alex has pledged for every pound he spend on his racing this year he will give 50p to CLIC Sargent! That in motor racing terms is huge. This year alone will cost Alex £200,000 in sponsorship funding for the racing, and therefore he has to raise £100,000 for CLIC Sargent! What a challenge, but one he is revaling in the chance.

He has already secured the support of ex-Jordan Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan, Chief editor of F1 Racing Magazine Matt Bishop, Top London PR firm, sidhu and Simon and television interest.

This year Alex will be driving a Formula One car for the first time, he will have a documentary on BBC television towards the end of the year and will be making appearences and speeches at major events accross the country, including: F1 Grand Prix Ball in Londons Royal Albert Hall and Ascot Race course in June.
