Alfie's running 26 miles for the NHS · 14 May 2020

In response to the many offers of donations and help for staff at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, we have opened a new campaign to focus on supporting our Hospital and Community Services in dealing with the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

Hi, I'm Alfie and I am 9 years old, I have decided I would like to raise some money for the NHS.

For the next 4 weeks every Thursday at 7pm I will be running 29 laps around my estate, this will be equal to 6.6 miles. At the end of the 4 weeks I will have ran a total of 26.4 miles just a bit more than a marathon.

Please sponsor me to support this great cause at this very difficult time.

Staff at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust are working around the clock to care for Covid-19 patients. The Charity is supporting them by creating a dedicated fund to receive donations to show our thanks and respect , to support their well being and provide any additional items needed at this difficult and challenging time.Your donations will make a difference no matter how small.Anything we raise over and above what might be needed in this current crisis will go towards helping our hospital and community services continue to give excellent care in the future.
