I think it’s safe to say that everyone goes through up’s and downs in their life and I have had my fair share. But I don’t want to make this about me. I am thrilled to be running London Marathon 2024 in aid of Mind, a charity that is so important in this day and age. Especially within the theatre industry, mental health issues are through the roof. The constant rejection, the social media influences, the mould that you feel like you need to fit are all things that as performers we have to face everyday, and this is on top of the everyday normal anxieties that we all face. I have been lucky enough to have such supportive friends and family that have my back at all times but I know that some people don’t have that support network or feel that they have no where to turn to, which is why I was so determined to do this Marathon with Mind. This charity is truly amazing and has supported so many people going through a rough time. It is so important to make people aware of this charity, so that even in the darkest moments, everyone has someone they can talk to.

It was during the pandemic that I was at rock bottom, I was in a horrendous place for so many reasons, as were many people, I know. But without my closets friends I don’t think I would have made it through that part of my life. So I want you to help me raise as much money as you can, so that no one ever had to feel alone ever again!
