The Mead Road Marathon will be taking place on Thursday 19th November during school hours. We want to get our kids moving to raise funds for the Friends of Mead Road School & Demelza Hospice Care for Children and collectively try to run a marathon.

About the charity

Friends of Mead Road (FMRS) is the school’s PTA. PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association, a school based organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Parents of students work together with teachers to volunteer in classes, raise money for supplemental school activities, and generally support the school's efforts. FMRS are a group of motivated parent volunteers whose objective is to support school life at Mead Road Infant School.
